Valley Forge
David's class took a 2 day trip to Valley Forge and Philadelphia...at the end of August. Whoops! We had a great time. Valley Forge was such a beautiful place and marks the place where the Revolutionary War really changed. Independence Hall was almost holy! We loved it and having the feeling where we traveled back in time and the amazing history that has gone on there. Sad that the only real piece was the chair with the sun on it.
Well here are the pictures from it! Me sound asleep on the bus. Luckily you can't see my drool!
Headquarters at Valley Forge.
The fields where Lafayette taught the men to march and disciplined soldiers.
Tour guide with cool stories and facts.
I sat by this statue while reading Dr King Jr. Autobiography....still haven't finished it.
This actor/historian was loud and exciting. He taught and acted out really cool facts about the war. Not a very good video but I accidentally deleted the good one.
David had way too much fun pretending to interact with all the Founding Fathers statues. I don't know why but I wasn't as interested....so our friend Cam took all the pictures! Thanks Cam.
Came out of the metro to a loud and talented band! I love it when that happens.
Fall. Mmmm. It nice because out here it lasts more than a week!
Canal from the late 1700's with locke's and everything.
Service project day... Trick or treat for canned food for food banks. Beautiful day...despite my bad attitude.
