Last week we had a few days with my friend Leah who came out to Utah from Kentucky! It was so fun!
She got to hold and cuddle with Savy a lot!
Lots of talking and some disagreeing--because that's what Leah and I do sometimes :)
We also hiked Stewart Falls at at Sunset...finished the last 15 minutes or so in the dark. Whoops :)
Ate at In-N-Out for Leah and I's first time-I ate there once years ago and just got fries
Looked around at the Riverwood shoppes
We hiked Ensign Peak in Salt Lake-I dragged David and Leah to a friends reception up there and while we were driving around after looking at the Capitol, David had the brilliant idea to hike Ensign Peak. He said, "it's just a little walk" haha! Well it would've been a little hike but I was in a pencil skirt and loose sandals and Leah was in flip flops. Made a little tricky going up because I couldn't take big steps and Leah was slipping :) and it was dark...really dark coming down. My sandals wouldn't stay on going down so I went barefoot giving David a hard time about the "little walk." I actually was really glad David thought of it because I had never done that and it was beautiful!!!! Totally worth it. Savannah is a little trooper on these adventures too...even when she's hungry she's quite patient! Something she didn't get from me.
We didn't get to do as much as I would've liked but the lack of sleep was really hitting me last week. Thanks for coming Leah!
